How to Use Paintings & Wall Arts

1. Log In to Canva

  • Go to Canva and log in with your credentials.
  • If you don’t have an account, you can easily sign up for free.

2. Start a New Design

  • On the homepage, click on the Create a design button at the top-right corner.
  • Select a design type like Instagram PostPoster, or any custom size that fits your project. 

3. Upload Your the Painting or Wall Art

  • Click on the Uploads tab in the left-hand menu.
  • Select Upload files to upload your backdrop from your computer.
  • Once uploaded, click on the backdrop to place it on your design canvas.
  • Resize the image to fit the entire canvas by dragging the corners.

4. Export and Save the Painting:

  • Once you're satisfied with your digital painting, export the file in a format like PNG, JPEG, or PDF. Adjust the resolution based on whether it's for digital use or printing.

5. Save to Devices:

  • Ensure your digital painting is saved locally on your device. If using cloud storage, also download a local copy for backup.
  • For easy access, save files on external drives or directly to your phone, tablet, or computer.

6. Print the Digital Painting:

  • Select a Print Service:
    • For professional printing, choose a reliable online print shop or local printing service. Some popular services include Vistaprint, Shutterfly, and Printful.
  • File Preparation:
    • Make sure the image is in a print-friendly format like PDF or TIFF at 300 DPI or higher.
    • Adjust the color mode to CMYK (if your software supports it) to ensure colors print accurately.
  • Select Paper Type:
    • Choose high-quality, durable paper like matte or glossy photo paper for best results.
    • You can also use texture paper to create the paintings effect
  • Print at Home (Optional):
    • If you have a good-quality printer, you can print your artwork at home. Make sure to use photo paper and high ink settings for vibrant color reproduction.

7. Use the Digital Painting in Various Media:

  • Incorporate your digital painting into:
    • Social Media posts
    • Backgrounds for devices or websites
    • Physical prints for home decor, office, or gifting
